A journey from the Heavenly Mountains to the Pewsey Vale.

A live music show devised by the Yirdbards.

From its origins in the wild mountain fruit forests of central Asia, along the silk routes to mainland Europe, we trace the apple’s journey to England.

This is a story of mixed fortunes, leading to celebration and grass roots revival.

The Yirdbards bring you a blend of spoken word, tunes and original songs… with plenty of opportunities to join in!
